MyOwns connects people with their personal belongings worldwide. These may be items from the household, clothing or mobile devices, but also pets or humans, e.g. little children. Each item must carry a unique alphanumeric MyOwns code, which is added to it with or after the production or purchase. After adding this code to your MyOwns account even unknown people can contact you forever reason without knowing personal contact data of you (like mobile phone number or e-mail address).
In future, each registered customer will be able to manage all his/her objects from purchase to transfer in a personal property database, like purchase date, purchase price, warranty times, or other vendor information. This can help in many cases, like technical problems, returns or insurance claims.
A core function of MyOwns is the online Lost & Found Office for registered but also unregistered objects of all kinds. You can publish lost or found reports when you lost or found an item. This increases the probability that your item will be found and/or returned.
